    This listing is for Klipsch owners who want to refresh/restore a system they already own, by replacing/upgrading a section that is not working correctly or is missing: the Klipsch ProMedia 4.1/v.2-400
    amplifier
    and/or volume control pod
    preamplifier
    is/are in excellent working condition. Buyer may select just the amplifier, or only the preamplifier pod, or both (if still available). The preamplifier volume control pod, which is needed to operate the amplifier, mounts beneath a satellite speaker. 60 day warranty is provided.

    .  The ProMedia 4.1 system has a combination of power, clarity and compact size that is very hard to find in the current consumer audio market.
    The v.2-400 and 4.1 versions of amplifier panel and control pod are interchangeable. The only significant difference is with the control pods: the 4.1's control pod has a mute button (looks like a power button, but only mutes the sound) and two jacks on the side: one for headphones, and the other for auxiliary input.
    A core return refund is available for shipping back an old amplifier and control pod using the provided Fed Ex Ground label (would need to drop the box at a Fed Ex Office). A refund is offered if the buyer pays the cores' return shipping. A partial core refund (/) is available if shipping back just an old amplifier or just a preamplifier pod.

    ), along with photos showing how to remove the grills to check the condition of the foam surrounds (which crumble when deteriorated). Avoid non-Klipsch 6.5" replacements!  Klipsch's are 6 ohm (the other 4 ohm and 8 ohm speakers offered on ebay do not match), and other speakers will not allow use of the Klipsch grills.
